Military and Campaign Pieces are highly collectible and decorative and can be placed in a variety of settings. The trunk is in overall very good original condition--it is decorated in contrasting leather and brass nailheads. Additionally, the trunk has been fitted with a later custom stand. This form of trunk was created in various sizes; I have a smaller similar trunk listed separately. I love trunks, cassones and arcas (Spanish Cassones) as they are very decorative and very practical as they make perfect informal coffee tables and storage chests for seasonal items like ski clothing or Christmas decorations. They are also the perfect hiding spot of toys and games. The larger trunks can be used as unique seating elements. See less
