Originally crafted in the mid-20th century as a functional sewing utility station, this piece has evolved into a highly versatile accent table ideal for modern organic, bohemian, or cottage-core interiors. The stand is masterfully structured with a two-tier design, featuring a deep, top storage basket, with the original lining on the lid and sides which have pockets to store essentials and equipped with a woven hinged lid to conceal everyday essentials. A gracefully arched swing handle frames the upper chest and flips back easily for unobstructed access. Beneath the main basket, a secondary woven open shelf offers a convenient platform for books, magazines, or displaying small decorative plants. Elevated on sturdy, cane-wrapped legs with brass end caps, this lightweight yet structurally sound piece delivers warm honey tones and exceptional geometric texture to any living room corner, powder room, or bedside
Great vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and gentle use. A beautifully aged patina with only minor, negligible breaks to the woven fibers that do not compromise its structural integrity. See less
