A beautiful mid-century Italian marquetry serving tray in a canted-corner octagonal shape. The center has an inlaid floral bouquet of roses and blossoms in warm yellows, coral, and cream, set against a rich, dark book-matched burl. It’s framed by a scrolling acanthus border on a lighter olive burl surround. A pierced brass gallery rail and turned brass handles finish the piece, and the whole surface is sealed under a glossy lacquer for easy care. The underside has a mahogany-tone finish and still carries the original blue and gold “Made in Italy” label.
Gorgeous for serving drinks or coffee, or styled on an ottoman, bar cart, or vanity. It’s just as lovely displayed on its own.
