DESCRIPTION
A striking mid-century American art glass decor bottle attributed to Carl Erickson, featuring a luminous amethyst body, beautifully controlled bubble decoration, and an extraordinary elongated clear glass spire stopper.
The bottle's distinctive flattened, rounded silhouette showcases delicate rows of suspended air bubbles beneath the glass surface. Its coloring transitions from soft rose-amethyst to deeper plum, resting upon a substantial clear glass foot.
A dramatically tapered clear glass stopper rises above the vessel, creating an elegant contrast between the rounded body and its slender, architectural finial.
A beautiful example of the decorative glassmaking associated with Erickson Glass Works during the mid-20th century, equally suited to a sophisticated dressing table, book shelf, side table or curated American art glass collection.

FROM THE HOUSE
There is something rather enchanting about a piece of glass that captures both light and air.
This beautiful amethyst bottle possesses that rare balance of delicacy and presence. Tiny bubbles appear suspended like stars within the softly rounded vessel, while its slender crystal-clear spire rises with extraordinary grace.
A lovely expression of mid-century American glassmaking, it brings a quiet sense of ceremony to the dressing table.
