Brimming with classic 'Animalier' school character, these figures exhibit remarkably expressive faces, deeply sculpted skin folds, and muscular definition.
Originally engineered to mount to iron hearth log rests via internal threaded mounting rods, these substantial, hollow-backed sculptures have transitioned beautifully into functional decorative objects. Thanks to their heavy casting and flat, stable footprints, they serve magnificently as unique tabletop sculptures, statement bookends, or sophisticated cabinet pieces for a library, office, or living space. Weighs about 6 pounds for both.
Boasting an unaltered, deeply warmed golden surface with gorgeous hand-chiseled nuances, they offer an elegant focal point for both traditional period rooms and eclectic contemporary interiors." See less
