This is a pair of Grosfeld House Asymmetrical clamshell chairs. They are both channel tufted and button tufted. The fabric has some light stain streaks so you will probably want to redo. The fabric is a blush dotted velvet. The legs are dark and look black though they could be super dark brown. These are heavy well made chairs circa 1940s. Beautiful for Regency decor. You could do a different fabric playing up the shell for a coastal look. NOT LABELLED DUE TO BEING RECOVERED.
Condition: Rock solid. Legs look nice and the finish good. Some light stained streaks on the fabric and suggest a fabric redo. No rips or tears..
