This heavy-cast collection captures the sleek grace, athleticism, and poised alertness of Greyhounds or Whippets across three distinct poses: an alert play-bow/crouch, a regal standing guard, and a poised seated posture.
Each piece features stylized, elongated proportions, distinct anatomical ribbing, and molded collars. The figures are finished in a rich, deep chemical bronze tone with warm golden-brass highlights naturally emerging from hand-handling along the spines, faces, and musculature over the decades.
Unmarked as is common for commercial foundry decor of this era, this cohesive set makes a stunning statement on a mantle, entryway console, or library bookshelf. Very heavy, substantial casting. See less
