The parrots are crafted from a bronze body with vibrant red enamel plumage detailed with fine wire scale patterns, and finished with gilded heads, wings, and long tail feathers. The birds are removable, revealing the hollow interior designed for holding incense. The base is shaped as a double-gourd, decorated with a yellow-orange ground featuring colorful floral scrollwork and a stylized wave border at the bottom. Applied gilded vines and smaller gourds adorn the surface. The underside of the base bears a rectangular cast seal mark. This piece is a striking example of traditional decorative art, combining sculptural gilt bronze elements with fine enamel work.
