This striking sculpture depicts a dragon-turtle (Longgui), a traditional symbol of longevity, stability, and wealth. The figure is crafted from a bronze body and richly decorated with cloisonné enamel. The head is finished in bright gilding with detailed horns and an open mouth, while the body features a vibrant turquoise ground adorned with colorful floral scrollwork in red, yellow, green, and blue. The domed shell is decorated in red enamel with stylized cloud motifs and a central gilt Yin-Yang symbol, encircled by a row of gilded coins. The creature stands on four clawed feet with a stylized gilt tail. This piece is a striking example of traditional decorative art, combining sculptural bronze elements with fine enamel work.
