An extraordinary antique wooden harp travel case, believed to date to the 1920s, thoughtfully repurposed into a striking bar and display cabinet. This rare and sculptural piece beautifully combines musical history, old-world craftsmanship, and functional decorative design.
Standing an impressive 76 inches tall, the case features a dramatic angular silhouette originally designed to accommodate a large harp. Constructed from wooden planks with reinforced edges, aged metal fittings, original-style latches, and a beautifully weathered patina, it retains the authentic character of a well-traveled antique instrument case.
The interior has been fitted with wooden shelves, creating a distinctive cabinet ideal for displaying fine barware, cocktail shakers, glassware, spirits, books, or treasured collectibles. The inside of the door retains a vintage fabric storage pocket, adding another charming detail to its historic character.
Whether displayed in a sophisticated home bar, gentleman’s study, library, music room, or eclectic living space, this exceptional piece serves as both functional storage and a captivating conversation piece.
Its architectural silhouette and richly aged surfaces complement Industrial, Rustic, European Country, Traditional, and Eclectic interiors.
