An elegant American Victorian parlor center table dating to circa 1875, beautifully blending Renaissance Revival stateliness with Eastlake geometric influence.
The table features its original, heavy slab of white marble with fine grey veining and a smooth, softly beveled edge. The marble rests securely over a deeply molded, oval solid walnut apron. The masterfully crafted pedestal base features four columnar pillars that surround a prominent, intricately turned central drop finial urn. The base gracefully extends into a sweeping four-legged pedestal structure accented by delicate brackets, terminating in original white ceramic wheel casters for historical accuracy and ease of movement.
With its grand architectural profile and magnificent woodwork, this versatile accent piece bridges the gap between historical design and contemporary utility. It functions beautifully as a timeless foyer statement piece, a durable plant hub, or a classic living room end table.

The original white veined marble top is smooth and polished, free of major structural cracks or deep stains, with only light surface wear consistent with over a century of careful household use. less
