This charming set comprises five figures of oxen, traditional symbols of strength, diligence, and agricultural prosperity. Each ox is crafted from bronze with a rich, reddish-brown patina and adorned with irregular splashes of gold across the body, a technique that adds a distinctive, organic texture. The heads, horns, and hooves are finished in bright gilding, contrasting with the darker body. The figures are modeled in various naturalistic poses—some standing, some with heads raised or lowered—capturing the essence of the animal. The set is a fine example of traditional decorative art, combining detailed casting with gilt accents.
