This charming pair of fish-form vases is crafted from a bronze body and richly decorated with cloisonné enamel. Each vase is shaped as a stylized leaping fish, featuring a vibrant red ground covered in dense, overlapping scale patterns in shades of orange and yellow. The bodies are accented with colorful floral motifs in blue, green, and yellow, along with applied dark metal leaf-shaped ornaments. The tail section is finished with turquoise enamel panels and stylized floral scrollwork. Each vase is fitted with a domed cover and rests on a matching red enamel base decorated with floral scrollwork and supported by small feet. The underside of the base bears a square enameled seal mark. The set is a striking example of traditional decorative art, combining sculptural bronze elements with fine enamel work.
