In Chinese culture, the rooster is a powerful symbol of good luck, punctuality, and prosperity (as the Chinese word for rooster sounds like the word for "auspicious" or "lucky").

The sculpture has a rich, antiqued bronze finish with scattered gold-gilt highlights and a deep, mottled patina that gives it a weathered, vintage appearance. Weighing nearly 900 grams, it is a substantial and commanding piece. Perfect for a desk, bookshelf, or as a unique decorative accent in a Chinoiserie or eclectic interior. See less
