This striking pair of bronze figures depicts mythical beasts, drawing inspiration from archaic ritual bronzes. Each creature features a raised head with an open mouth, prominent horns, and bulging eyes, with a stylized curled tail. The bodies are richly cast with intricate, low-relief taotie masks, scrolling cloud motifs, and geometric patterns across the entire surface. The surface displays a deep, mottled patina with areas of green oxidation, enhancing the antique aesthetic. The figures are positioned in a dynamic, striding stance with detailed clawed feet.
