This impressive pair of covered temple jars (often referred to as General Jars) is crafted from a bronze body and richly decorated with cloisonné enamel. Each vessel features a vibrant red ground covered in a dense, stylized cloud pattern, centered by a majestic blue dragon with yellow and green accents. The sides are applied with dark bronze handles modeled as lion masks. The domed lids are decorated with colorful floral and scroll motifs and topped with a dark finial. The lower section of each jar features a band of stylized rolling waves in blue, white, and green. The base is finished in red enamel with a dense scroll pattern and bears a rectangular recessed mark. This set is a striking example of traditional decorative art, combining sculptural bronze elements with fine enamel work.
