Each chair is a sculptural tour de force, heavily hand-carved from solid oak in the distinctive Black Forest style. The soaring high backs feature an elaborate openwork cresting adorned with a pair of perched game birds flanking a central cartouche, scrolling acanthus, and fruiting vines. The drama continues with robust barley-twist uprights, turned finials, and exquisitely carved legs united by barley-twist stretchers.

Newly and professionally upholstered in rich cognac-toned genuine leather, accented with antique brass nailheads that highlight the carvings and provide a warm, inviting glow. The leather offers a beautiful patina and luxurious comfort against the dark, time-worn oak frame.

This coveted set of six is perfect for a grand dining room, a luxury hunting lodge, or as statement side chairs throughout a designer estate. A collector-grade ensemble that embodies Old World aristocracy and timeless English charm. See less
