Handsome Victorian walnut armchair in the Queen Anne style, circa 1880. The tall shaped back features a broad vase splat with decorative scroll details and attractive figured grain. Sweeping arms terminate in carved scrolls above curved supports. The upholstered seat is covered in a muted green and cream geometric fabric. A distinctive carved mask decorates the centre of the shaped front seat rail. Raised on cabriole front legs with shell carved knees and pad feet. A striking occasional chair for a study, hallway or traditional interior. All items fully restored and offered in very good condition.
