This true mirror-image pair depicts seated mother poodles with highly expressive, hand-painted facial features and individual curls, Each mother is accompanied by two smaller puppies nestled at her paws.
Moving away from standard plain configurations, this premium pair is elevated on integrated cobalt blue slip-glazed plinth bases accented with hand-painted gold gilt lining. The unglazed undersides display classic signs of 19th-century workshop assembly, complete with hand-pierced structural firing vent holes and blue artisan brush-stroke tally marks used for piecework tracking.
