A highly collectible piece of early 20th century natural taxidermy art, it features an intricate marquetry arrangement of authentic, iridescent Morpho butterfly wings structured into a mosaic pattern. The brilliant wings transition beautifully from deep electric blue to shimmering violet and natural tan hues under a pristine, original domed glass cover. The central medallion is housed within an organic, hand-forged patinated metal frame that extends into three sculptural stylized legs characteristic of the period. The underside displays the authentic incised stamp signature reading "Peguy". This piece has an attribution mark,
