This exceptional pair of late 19th-century French church altar candlesticks balances historical liturgical craftsmanship with timeless decorative appeal. Beautifully cast in brass, each piece features a classical fluted column rising from a distinct tripartite tripod base decorated with intricate scroll detailing.
The defining highlight of this set is the iconography: each side of the triangular bases features a unique metal relief portrait medallion forming a sacred display of the Holy Family (Jesus Christ wearing the crown, the Virgin Mary looking down in serene devotion) alongside Saint Peter.
Ideal for collectors or designers looking to anchor a mantle, console or dining setting with dark golden antique warmth. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
