A large Italian wall mirror from the 1950s, featuring a refined shield shape and a brass frame, in the style of Gio Ponti. Its slender proportions, rounded lower section, and arched upper profile create an elegant, sculptural vertical composition—an expression of post-war Italian design. A delicate beaded motif runs along the inner edge of the brass frame, adding a subtle decorative detail to the minimalist structure. with its impressive height and slender, vertical shape, the mirror makes a strong architectural statement and is particularly well-suited for entryways, living rooms, bedrooms, or Mid-Century Modern interiors.
The brass frame has been professionally polished, preserving the piece’s original character; slight signs of age and use consistent with the era remain. Dimensions: height 107 cm, width 60 cm.
