It features high-quality ornamentation, including three identical rosettes—one in the center and two on the sides. Below the side rosettes, at the top of the jambs, are two beautifully sculpted, high-relief acanthus leaves. It has a large firebox opening (97 cm wide by 81.5 cm high) that could accommodate an antique cast-iron fireback if desired; we have two compatible ones available.
