Acryilic on canvas. Hand signed. Titlred on rear. Excellent condition. Jésus Moncada (1941–2005) was born in Mequinenza and is widely celebrated as one of the most important contemporary writers in the Catalan language, best known for his novel Camí de sirga (The Towpath). Alongside his writing career, Moncada was a passionate painter and draftsman for over twenty years. Most of his paintings do not carry official titles or dates and are preserved at the Spazio Jesús Moncada within the Museums of Mequinenza. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
