The composition combines a long teak sideboard with two sliding-door cupboards at each end and a central bank of three drawers , together with a long open teak shelf. Above, the bookcase features a generous open central section, flanked by a smaller cupboard on each side, each enclosed by a sliding door. Two elegant black metal structures support the teak modules , creating a light , architectural look while providing a strong, practical framework . The unit has arrived in exceptionally good original condition . Our restorers only needed to carefully clean all components, including the teak modules and shelf, then apply wax to revive and protect the teak’s natural colour and character. A versatile and beautifully proportioned example of british mid-century design , offering generous storage and display space while making a strong architectural statement.
