Both figures are depicted in a seated pose with one paw resting on a large, decorated ball, while their heads are raised with open mouths and curled manes. The bodies are decorated with a turquoise-green enamel ground covered in scrolling floral and cloud motifs in red, pink, purple, and yellow. The heads, tails, and front paws are finished in dark, polished bronze with intricate, swirling textures. The spherical bases they rest on are decorated with red enamel and feature a prominent, sculpted beast mask in high relief. The enamel surface shows a glossy finish with some areas of wear, typical of aged cloisonné work. This listing includes both figurines.
