Armchair se 122 a designer: egon eiermann year: 1958 manufacturer: wilde & spieth, esslingen country: germany measurements: h 82 cm sh 45 cm w 62 cm d 62 cm material: oiled teak, black cowhide nappa leather cover and straps, foam padding. Condition: good original condition special remarks: with slight signs of wear. Originally designed for the administration building of essener steinkohle, the “belt chair” was presented to a wide audience at the furniture fair in cologne in 1962. The elaborately designed and manufactured armchair was never produced in large numbers. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
