This is a finely cast silver-plated bronze incense burner (censer) featuring intricate high-relief (repoussé) and chiseled decoration. The top section depicts a seated, multi-armed wrathful deity (Vajra) blowing a conch shell, framed by scrolling ribbon-like motifs. The middle section features a double-lotus pedestal. The base is supported by three energetic, figural legs cast in the form of mythical beasts or attendants holding up the platform. The piece is constructed in multiple sections (the top figure is removable, as shown in the photos).
