This charming porcelain plate is a wonderful decorative piece that brings a touch of traditional folk art to your home. The plate features a classic blue and white design, hand-painted on a slightly off-white glazed background.
The central motif depicts a lively scene of a figure riding a mythical beast, holding a slender staff or branch aloft, surrounded by stylized swirling clouds. The wide rim is divided into a series of panels, each decorated with alternating auspicious symbols, objects, and floral designs.
This versatile plate is perfect for displaying on a stand (as shown) on a shelf or mantel, or for use as a unique catch-all tray for small items. Its timeless design and historical charm make it a lovely addition to any interior.
