This is a matching pair of silver-plated guardian lion (Pixiu) figurines, featuring detailed high-relief (repoussé) and chiseled decoration. Both figures are depicted in a crouching, alert pose with their heads facing forward, displaying prominent curled manes, bulging eyes, and fierce expressions. The bodies are muscular and adorned with stylized flame-like motifs along the haunches.
