This is a matching pair of cast bronze guardian lion (Pixiu) figurines, featuring a gilded finish with a dark, aged patina. Both figures are depicted seated on rectangular plinths, with detailed manes, scales, and fierce expressions. Each lion rests its front paws on a sphere or a small cub. The front of each plinth bears the inscribed characters "至尊貔貅" (Zhi Zun Pi Xiu), while the underside of each base is cast with a four-character seal mark reading "大明宣德" (Da Ming Xuande). The bronze exhibits signs of wear, oxidation, and remnants of the original gilding, typical of antique metalwork. This listing includes both figurines.
