A striking French Art Deco sideboard dating to the 1930s, originally imported from France by its previous owner. This substantial statement piece features dramatic, richly figured wood veneer with alternating bands of warm amber and deep brown tones, creating a bold, architectural effect. Its rounded ends, geometric detailing, and distinctive stepped pedestal base embody the elegance and sculptural character of the Art Deco period.
The spacious interior offers four side shelves across the two outer compartments, providing practical storage alongside its exceptional decorative presence. The center compartment does not contain a shelf.
Condition: Good antique condition for its age, with character and wear consistent with its history. One set of shelf rails is missing, and the original key is not present.
