Each vessel features a bird's head with an open beak and a tall, looped handle rising from the back. The bodies are richly decorated with intricate gold inlay, featuring detailed feather patterns across the neck, wings, and tail, along with scrolling vine motifs and inlaid characters along the sides. A small, domed lid with a finial rests atop a short spout on the back of each bird. The bronze exhibits a deep, dark patina with extensive remnants of original gilding and verdigris throughout the recessed details, giving them a distinguished, excavated appearance. These pieces are a powerful representation of traditional metalwork and would make a captivating addition to any collection of antique bronzes or Asian artifacts.
