This impressive vintage Chinese vessel is crafted from bronze, modeled after an archaic square Zun (ritual wine vessel). The piece features a striking form with a flaring mouth, a tall neck, and a prominent bulbous midsection adorned with four protruding ram heads.
The surface is intricately cast with traditional geometric and scroll patterns, characteristic of ancient Chinese bronze designs. The piece is accented with gold (gilt) highlights on the raised details, including the ram heads, creating a beautiful contrast against the dark, patinated bronze.
