Elevate your space with this striking large Neoclassical wall plaque created by the renowned luxury home furnishings maker John-Richard. Exuding timeless Italianate and Tuscan elegance, this multi-dimensional piece features an oversized central arched panel ornamented with intricate scrolling foliate motif arabesques, set within a distressed, crackle-finish surround in rich shades of sage green, terracotta, charcoal, and ochre.
Frame & Construction
The artwork is suspended within an openwork rectangular iron frame, accented by raised laurel leaf garlands and corner acanthus/leaf motifs. The frame exhibits an aged bronze-and-green patina with intentional fine crackle texturing, giving the piece a grand architectural presence reminiscent of antique European iron gates and frescoes.
Its substantial scale and rich, warm palette make it a dramatic focal point for an entryway, above a mantel, along a stair hall, or as a anchor piece in a Hollywood Regency, Tuscan Villa, or Neoclassical-inspired interior.
