Three cheerful yellow ducks paddle across a band of cobalt blue water: one sits upright and proud, while two others dive headfirst with their little orange feet kicking in the air, exactly as the song describes.

A brass plaque, held in place with four domed tacks, carries the verse in a careful hand-inscribed script: "Alle meine Entchen schwimmen auf dem See, Köpfchen in dem Wasser, Schwänzchen in die Höh'" ("All my little ducks swim on the lake, heads in the water, tails in the air").

It's painted on a dark woodgrain panel and set in a simple natural wood frame. The yellow paint has developed a lovely overall craquelure that adds texture and character. It would be a charming accent for a nursery, kitchen, or a collection of folk and outsider art. See less
