An Art Deco figural centerpiece basket, featuring a woven wire basket form flanked by three seated nude figures in a stylized bronze finish.
The figures sit at the base of the basket on a wavy, scalloped black lacquered platform, their poses mirrored on each side. The basket itself is formed from tightly interlaced metal strands, creating an open, airy texture that contrasts with the solid, sculptural weight of the figures. The whole piece rests on small turned feet.
Could be used for a candle holder or centerpiece flower design. The opening on the metal basket is 3.75” wide
