Add a touch of historic elegance to an entryway, powder room, or bedroom with this beautiful late-19th-century Victorian wall mirror. Expertly crafted from rich, warm-toned wood (likely walnut or mahogany), this piece features a dynamically shaped, elegant hourglass frame flanked by sweeping architectural scroll brackets at the base.
The top is crowned with an ornate, hand-carved floral pediment crest and a decorative medallion molding, showcasing classic late Victorian craftsmanship. - Although this beautiful and historic mirror is able to be used as is, I really feel as if I needed … moreAlthough this beautiful and historic mirror is able to be used as is, I really feel as if I needed to list it as "needs restoration," simply because there are some significant signs of wear on the piece. This includes the top, scratches and a few minor knicks. The spindles aren't fully secure and do move (although I think they always have.) The mirror also has spotting in places especially around the perimeter. Regardless of it's wear, it's very striking. I personally would hang it up and just enjoy it's natural age, and vintage excellence. Please see photos for a better understanding of the piece. less
