This is a representative hanging light with a richly articulated brass structure, a two-tiered arrangement of arms and a distinctive central stem ending in a spherical body. The chandelier is designed for classic wax candles and is a beautiful example of old Dutch craftsmanship.

The chandelier's structure consists of a turned central axis with profiled links, a lower sphere and a hanging eye. Elegantly curved arms extend from the body carrying bowl-shaped saucers and candlestick cups. The decorative effect is enhanced by rich volute ornaments with S-shaped twisted elements, which create an airy, rhythmic and very plastic composition. The brass surface has a natural old patina with minor traces of oxidation, darkening and use. An interesting and collectible detail is the original structural design of the arms. The arms are set into grooves in the chandelier body and secured with turned pins. This made it possible to easily remove the individual arms, for example when cleaning wax from cups and saucers. This practical detail demonstrates the original useful function of the luminaire and the quality of the period craftsmanship. The chandelier is not electrified, which is a significant advantage for such a historical piece. It retains the authentic character of a candle chandelier and is suitable for use with classic candles, or as a distinctive decorative element of a historical interior. Thanks to its size, rich silhouette and golden tone of brass, it is ideal for a castle hall, dining room, salon, library, entrance hall, chapel or representative space.

The condition corresponds to its age and use. The natural patina of brass, small stains, darkening, traces of wax, surface irregularities, local oxidation and common signs of handling are evident.
