This is a rarer model from the peak of Art Nouveau, when organic lines inspired by nature and plant motifs were prevalent in artistic craftsmanship. The chandelier is made of high-quality bronze with original gilding. The entire composition is modeled in typical Art Nouveau curves reminiscent of plant stems and leaves, which elegantly develop from the central body of the chandelier. The plastic decoration is very finely crafted and testifies to the high level of contemporary craftsmanship. The dominant element is the artistically shaped glass lampshades in the form of iris flowers, which are one of the iconic motifs of French Art Nouveau. Frosted glass with fine relief veining creates a soft and atmospheric light and gives the chandelier an exceptionally elegant character. In its time, this type of chandelier was among the very luxurious and expensive lamps designed for representative interiors. It was installed mainly in large bourgeois apartments, villas and salons, where it formed a distinctive decorative element and a symbol of social prestige. Due to the demanding nature of production and the quality of the materials used, these chandeliers have only been preserved in limited quantities and today they are among the sought-after collector's items. The bronze has a beautiful natural patina corresponding to the age of more than a hundred years, which underlines the authenticity of the entire luminaire.
