the unit is made of wood with a glossy, golden-oak veneer finish, and the two, cabinet doors, have an oak veneer finish, with a beautiful "flame" effect.

the cabinet has been designed by gillard bourdin, carpenter and woodworking artisan from the dordogne, in the périgord region of the southwest of france.

the two doors are fully functional, and have their original, diagonal, brass and bakelite handles, with a design typical of the epoch.

the inside of the cabinet is clean, with very light marks of previous usage and provides ample storage. On the left side are two removable shelves, while there is one removable shelf on the right side (see photos.)

piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with very light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time,, as well as patina of age and time, on the overall structure, top, doors, side panels, legs, hardware and shelving (see photos.) a very light scuff of age on the top, a small mark of age on the rear, left corner and right top, of the side panels (see photos with a 1 cent coin for perspective.)

a maker's mark from the maker is visible at the back of the piece (see photo.)

a nice looking and practical piece, that will will function very well in any given contemporary, mid-century modern, rustic or vintage space, whether used in a kitchen, bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom, etc.

all photos taken in natural outdoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, reflections of stone, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
