….A Quartet of 1930s Spode Cowslip teacups with matching saucers, each in the basketweave shape. The molded, ribbed bodies carry a brown printed border and sprays of floral color on cream, a pattern that sits happily beside printed linens, patterned walls and a mismatched tea table.
Each cup measures 4.4" wide including the handle, 2.5" deep and 2" high. Each saucer is 5.5" in diameter. Use them for tea or coffee, or stack them on a shelf as a small collection.
All three cups and saucers are in very good condition, lovingly used, with slight wear and the gentle signs of age expected of English tableware from the 1930s.
Four cups with three saucers, offered together as a set.
Cup width (with handle) 4.4"
Cup depth 2.5"
Cup height 2"
Saucer diameter 5.5"
Very good vintage condition. Lovingly used, with slight wear and age consistent with its period.
