The exact collection pictured can be seen in this active eBay Listing titled "Lot of 8 Vintage Kokeshi Bobble Head Dolls."
Unlike standard rigid traditional Kokeshi, these dolls feature loose-fitting, pivoted heads that wobble or nod gently when touched.
Several of the figures feature bodies painted with prominent traditional Japanese swirling motifs, such as the Tomoe (the green and red comma-like emblems seen on the front-left and front-right dolls).
These folk-art pieces were hand-carved from seasoned wood (typically dogwood or maple) and individually hand-painted, which is why each facial expression and floral kimono design varies.
