The composition is completed by abundant vegetation, ornamental vases, country architecture, and a putti sculpture. The scene follows the pastoral and courtly tradition popularized by François Boucher, with elegantly dressed figures, soft colors, and an idealized landscape. The tapestry imitates historical tapestries produced in Aubusson and Beauvais. Presented in an important carved and gilded wooden frame, decorated with a succession of large acanthus leaves and a beaded inner border.
