Pair of artistic glass sculptures representing fish, probably produced in Murano during the second half of the 20th century. Each figure has a transparent glass body enclosing a pink core, crossed by silvery-blue bands and gold metallic inclusions. The fins, tails, eyes and mouths were hand-shaped and applied hot. The small differences between the two sculptures confirm their handcrafted production. The technique, the use of sheet metal, and the expressive modeling are characteristic of mid-20th-century Murano production, finding parallels in pieces from workshops such as Fratelli Toso. However, in the absence of a signature or original label, the attribution should be considered probable. Condition: Very good vintage condition. See less
