This striking vintage cloisonne enamel figurine depicts a powerful ox or bull, a traditional symbol of strength, diligence, and prosperity. The animal is finely crafted with intricate wirework separating vibrant enamel cells on a turquoise ground, featuring a dense pattern of scrolling floral motifs in shades of red, pink, yellow, and white. The ox has a dark, patinated head with gilded horns and ears, and its body is adorned with a prominent chain of gilded coin medallions draped across its neck, symbolizing wealth and abundance. The piece is finished with a high-gloss sheen and exhibits a rich patina. This sculpture is a striking example of traditional cloisonne craftsmanship and makes a distinguished decorative accent for a desk, shelf, or collection.
