The body features a hexagonal wooden barrel with a warm, reddish-brown finish, accented by polished brass and silver-tone metal fittings. It is designed with a telescoping, collapsible mechanism to adjust the focal length. A decorative metal plaque on the side is inscribed with the word "DOLLOND LONDON". The telescope is housed in a sturdy, custom-fitted wooden case with brass hinges and clasps, lined with blue fabric. In traditional culture, such instruments are symbols of exploration and precision.
