The barrels are wrapped in textured reddish-brown leather with a pebbled grain and geometric patterns, accented by polished brass and dark metal fittings. The central focus wheel and eyepieces remain functional. The set is housed in a sturdy, custom-fitted leather case with a strap. The case is embossed with the inscription "Made For Royal Navy" and "Ross, Beck Ltd. London 1857", along with a crest and serial number. In traditional culture, such instruments are symbols of exploration and precision. This piece is a distinguished addition to any collection of antique scientific instruments or maritime artifacts.
