This exquisite vintage jewelry box is a beautiful example of traditional Asian craftsmanship. Crafted from a richly grained dark wood, likely rosewood or huali, this chest features two drawers, each adorned with a pair of intricately carved jade (or jadeite) discs.
The jade medallions feature pierced, swirling floral and foliate designs in vibrant shades of green and translucent white. Each drawer is fitted with a pair of small, decorative metal pulls inlaid with dark and red stones. This box is perfect for storing treasured jewelry, keepsakes, or small collectibles, making it both a functional organizer and a stunning decorative accent for a vanity or dresser.
