Description
Beautiful and unusual vintage Leonard Silver Plate lotus-form candelabra and floral centerpiece, featuring an elegant sculptural design inspired by a blooming lotus.
The piece has three candle cups with gracefully curved, scrolling arms surrounding a dramatic layered lotus-petal bowl. The original removable flower frog is included, allowing this versatile piece to be used as both a three-light candelabra and a floral centerpiece.
The underside is clearly marked “LEONARD SILVER PLATE.”
The silver-plated finish has developed a beautiful authentic aged patina, with areas of dark oxidation, warm bronze tones, blue-green and amber iridescence, surface scratches, and natural discoloration. The piece has been left in its aged condition rather than aggressively polished, preserving the character and history of the original finish.
A wonderful statement piece for a dining table, mantel, console, sideboard, or collected vintage interior. Particularly appealing to collectors of vintage silver plate, botanical forms, Mid-Century decorative objects, Hollywood Regency, and eclectic interiors.
